Alien!

The alien is very cute. In the style of Alien Hominid. Along with the enimies, who were very cute, too. And is that, upbeat techno music to go along with the beating of innocent little invaders?

I had fun with the upgrade system. Well I woudn't call it an upgrade system it's more like a buying things system. Kind of like Toss the Turtle's shop, but you get my point. Oh and the +3 nades each win caught me off guard because I read it nads.

On to the bad parts. The enemies. Later in the game while I was killing the enimies after I killed one, and I mean right before, another spawned right above me. That was just aful because I had to collect the life points and money and then proceed to beat his head in.

When they got guns was bad. Simply because of, well, read above. In essence it is really good. I would enjoy of there were no borders to the game. Like if it was a huge planet, and you could run on in the same direction forever you know? Since it's called protect your planet. Not protect your patch of land.

Level up! This flash is now level 4.

Pixel games. How rare is it to see a semi-rpg type one of them. And it dosn't bug out on IE! That is a definate plus, well for me anyways. It didn't interfere with my ability to enjoy the games I like.

On to the gameplay. It is stunning. The amount of places to explore the crystals to collect, and of course the level up feature. I had fun day after day going and getting the same tons of crystals. Leveling up was a bonus.

The boss was way to hard the first day. I had to literally wait about a week in game. Collect enought crystals to buy all the skills from the sky people, 'cause I dont want to work for it, and get my sleep to level 5. Level 5 sleep is important.

Not because it lets you stay up longer, but because it lets you get all your main, that is the ones you start with, skills to 5. Then you should go get the level 5 relationship to beat the boss. He was a toughie.

It took me two long playthroughs to beat him. I mean it's just hard for me. The story is interesting after you beat him though. That is too say most of the story is after you've beaten the boss. And that's most of the game!

I actually didn't expect it to have that sort of ending. I thought it was just a random crash, but no a shock. I don't know if that's for everyone, or I'm just dumb. The ending did promise a sequel though.

Don't dissapoint us like movie based game sequels. Anyone that is a fan of the Nostalgia Critic should know this by now. Maybe there will be more things to level up in the next game. Including a fence repairing skill! Oh yea and, the Codex is self-refferential! I can only imagine what it must be like forgetting what it is day after day.

I'll do my best to not disappoint. Kayn (the writer) seems to think the direction I'm taking series in is going is good, and that's good enough for me. There is going to be a great deal -more- story in the sequel. I'm getting a taste for doing this narrative stuff now.

Loosing to the boss on the first day is intentional. I know it's rarer these days, but I think putting the player in a situation where they have to loose is an interesting. After all people went on and on about that one scene in MW where you can't -possibly- win. I was just looking for a slightly different dynamic in that the possibility of victory had to be there, but hard to obtain. Otherwise it's not a struggle, or a cheap trick to make plays think they have a chance (Like bosses in RPG's you can't win against).

The game

It was a pretty good game. The grow control I find to be very weird, but I got used to it after a while. Next time maybe you should try to make it right click or middle mouse instead of space-bar click.

The music is simply the best for this type of game. I could not even think of anything better to go with it except maybe, metal? Not really. Another thing is that the game is a challenge. I found myself in some levels to find out really easily, while in others I had to fool around for a bit.

The mass tutorial message I felt came a little too late. Early in the game I could not see why I coudn't grow some of the bricks, which I had to do for me to beat that level, until the mass came into effect. (The affect effect XD I get them mixed up)

The octagon shaped smiley was a cute addition also. At the end I would say it is a pretty hard game at times. I can't wait until a #2. Maybe it'll be new levels designs? Maybe it'll be like Super Stacker. Who knows.

thanks for the review, i wish i could use right click but its impossible with flash

You know what

I was looking forward to this game, but now I can't play it because the online is broken. I havn't even seen how the game is played. I really want to, though. Surely you can come up with a single player mode can't you?

Ha!

After winning and losing one time I decided to try two challenges. One to get a 0.00 GPA and another of getting a 4.00 GPA. After trying those multiple times I just quit. There's not enough replay value except for boredom.

Well I'll say...

This game was an ok platformer until I got rickrolled and coudn't get past the barrier. I sort of tried to get past it before Rick appeared, but after about ten minutes of trying, I decided it would be impossible. Maybe make a ten level platformer promising a reward at the end, but the reward is a blank room with just a floor and the Rick Roll video over it and a captaion saying "OMFG LUUL!!!!11"

Herpes?

Nene getting herpes is too funny. One thing though, who did she get it from? Besides that the ways she died became funnier and funnier. Even praying to god worked. Who would have thought?

Hehe!

This tool is great and has a great soundtrack too. One thing I find fascinating, is that I'm testing myself on questions that I made a long time ago. It does bring back old memories dosn't it? It is a great tool for remembering answers on something too.

Outdated

While a bit outdated I had fun seeing what me, and other users accounts were worth. Now I can make $75 on mine!

Heh?

While the game was challenging, there is nothing much else to say besides the fact that George W. Bush is sniffing coke. Also that baby hallucination is just fucking weird.

Will all of yous kindly fuck up?
